Experience Starship: How to start playing starship

 1. Open a metamask account. There are plenty of tutorial out there on how to create a metamask account.

2. Login to your metamask account. 



3. You need to add the "Smart Chain" in your metamask. There are plenty of tutorials available to do this. Once you have the "Smart Chain" add the starship token to your account (red arrow).


4. To buy starship tokens and deposit them into your metamask wallet, go to  https://deploystarship.com/


5. There are two ways to buy starship tokens, through Credit or Dex. 

a. Click Credit if you want to buy starship using your credit card. Follow the instructions on the site to complete.


b. Click Dex if you wish to purchase starship tokens using the bogged finance app. You need to connect your metamask wallet (yellow arrow). Enter the amount of BNB in the "From" box. It will show you how much starship you will get in exchange in the "To" box. Click swap. Your starship tokens will be added to your metamask wallet.





Note: The amount of starship tokens determines the rarity of your ship in the game. See table below.  For example, if you have $40-$100 dollars worth of starship tokens, you will have 3 uncommon ships. Note: Every phase of the game, you will be given 3 ships for free.


6. Now that you have the ships, you need to equip them with components. You will need 11 parts per ship. You can buy the parts at Atomic Hub: https://wax.atomichub.io/market.

7. To buy from atomic hub, you need to open a wax account. There are many tutorial out there on how to create a wax account.

8. Once you have the wax account, you need to buy waxp tokens first. On your wax account, click the waxp amount right below your wax name (see red arrow).


9. Click the wax cloud wallet. 


10. Click "Buy Waxp".

11. There are many ways to buy waxp. I use Moonpay and Exchange Now. Both are simple to use.


12. Now that you have waxp in your wallet. You need to stake waxp to 3 network resources to allow you to store NFTs and complete transactions. Click "Resources".


13. Stake waxp to CPU, NET, and RAM. You will need to stake more waxp on CPU among the three resources. Example add 50 waxp CPU, 10 waxp NET, and 25 waxp RAM. To stake waxp, click the drop down menu, select a resource and enter the amount of waxp (yellow arrow) and click "stake"


14. Now you are ready to buy starship components. Go to AtomicHub Market place and search "starshipnft". - https://wax.atomichub.io/market


15. You can buy individual components or just buy an extended pack where it has a complete set of components. Remember that you will need 11 components. Each component has its own function; and could be in different rarity. 16. After you bought the pack, go to your inventory to unpack. 


17. To start playing the Starship Game, go to https://game.deploystarship.com/. Click play.


18. Click "create an account" and connect your metamask wallet.


19. Click "Login" and connect your wax wallet or anchor wallet.

21. You also need to buy and stake kyanite before you can fly your ship and start mining kyanite.
See this previous post. Stake kyanite will be use to pay your gas fees.

22. After you equip your ships and stake kyanite, you can start flying your ship. Click the radar icon on your screen. 


Select the following: 
a. Quadrant: North, West, South, or East
b. Sector: 0 -24
c. System: 0-24
d. Planet: 1-4

Hit "Launch". You should see a screen similar to the one bellow. It shows your the time of flight and the planet you are mining. 


Note: It is important to know your mining capacity so that you can get into a planet with enough kyanite for you to mine.

Experience Starship: How much kyanite did I earn as pilot of a Founder ship with all Mythic parts

I was fortunate enough to rent a Founder (now called Primordial) ship with all Mythic parts. This ship is the top of the top.  The owner's commission is 80% so I get 20% of the net profit after tax ang gas.
