Experience Starship: The Return on Investment (ROI) of my uncommon ship with all uncommon parts

This is an estimated Return of Investment (ROI) of my uncommon ship with all rare parts. Based on current prices of tokens as of 6-2-22.

1. Cost:

a. Wax resources: I added more wax on each resources, more than what the Starship GDD recommends (https://medium.com/@deploystarship/starship-nft-game-onboarding-guide-8576909358e8)

         Ram - 15 wax

         Net  - 10 wax

        CPU - 160 wax

b. Starship tokens in wax (This is about $60 worth of starship tokens) - 500 wax

c. Staked kyanite (Use for fuel cost)- 6 wax

d. Rare components of 1 ship at current lowest price as of 6-2-2022. Buying the part individually not packs.

        Flight control - 2.4 wax

        Cooling system - 1.33 wax

High powered thruster - 2.39 wax

        Secondary thruster - 1.97 wax

        Halo computer - 7 wax

        AI system - 6.82 wax

        Life support - 4.5 wax

        Shield system - 7.8 wax

        Kyanite storage - 9.8 wax

        Kyanite extractor - 14.89 wax

        Engine - 5.68 wax

Total component cost - 64.58 wax for a single ship

Total Cost: 755.58 wax (at the current exchange rate as of 6.2.2022, this is about $102.34)

2. Income (based on a  approximately 11-12 hours flight -one way, sector 16)

a. Ship's Mined Kyanite (daily) -  540 kyanite or  1.37 wax (at the current kyanite to wax exchange rate)

3. Return on Investment (ROI) for a single ship (if only 1 ship flying) - 552 days (approximately 18-19 months). It will take 552 days to get your money back.

-If you have 3 similar ships (uncommon ships with all uncommon parts) mining, the total cost would increase to 884.74 wax. The daily mined kyanite will also increase to  1620 or 4.11 wax. The ROI will be 215 days (approximately 7-8 months).

-If you have 6 similar ships (uncommon ships with all uncommon parts) mining, the total cost would increase to 1,078.48 wax. The daily mined kyanite will also increase to  3,240 or 8.22 wax. The ROI will be 131 days (approximately 4-5 months).

* This report is just about the income created by the ship from mining. Other sources of income can be - the kyanite earned from people mining your planet (check out this blog about how much I earned from  mining my own planet - https://cyberspaceastronaut.blogspot.com/2022/05/experience-starship-how-much-kyanite-do.html) and income from rental as a pilot (check this blog about how much I earned as a pilot flying a Mythic ship - https://cyberspaceastronaut.blogspot.com/2022/06/experience-starship-how-much-kyanite.html).

It is important to note that if the kyanite and starship value increases, the ROI will decrease. Moreover, if the value of all your NFT's  increase, the ROI will also decrease.

Experience Starship: How much kyanite did I earn as pilot of a Founder ship with all Mythic parts

I was fortunate enough to rent a Founder (now called Primordial) ship with all Mythic parts. This ship is the top of the top.  The owner's commission is 80% so I get 20% of the net profit after tax ang gas. Using  https://starship.primatepirate.com/ , the ship needs to mine planets at sector 24 to get the maximum profit. I also like to mine the owner's planet to get them more kyanite. I only turn to other planets if the owner's planets are empty or do not have enough kyanite to mine.   In this trip, I decided to mine Planet 338948, a gas planet located in sector 24. The estimated gas cost was 1103.7275 kyanite. The round trip was about 10 hours. At 20% share minus tax and gas, I was able to get 1,636.4062 kyanite.  On other trips to different planets, I was able to get 1949.5165 kyanite per trip or 2366.5469 kyanite per trip. I noticed I am getting different amount of kyanite per trip and this is due to the pool size of the planet I am mining (I did not realize this until f

Experience Starship: How to withdraw kyanite from the game and convert to wax

Experience Starship: How do I rent a ship?

Below are the steps on how I rent ships. In my game dashboard on desktop, I click this tab (see picture below). This will take me to a table (see picture below). When I see a box that says "rent" on the far right of the table, that means the ship is available to rent. I click that box to rent the ship. The "Owners Commission" tells me the sharing mechanics. If it says 75% then that means the owner gets 75% and I get 25% of the net profit. If I am in the mobile version, I click the box that says "Ship Rentals". It will take me to this table (see below). If a ship is available to rent,  a "Rent box" appears. I click that  to start renting. It is important to note that I did not have to have enough kyanite to be able to rent my first ship. In order for me to rent a second ship, I need to have at least 100,000 staked kyanite. This also holds true if I want to rent my 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th ships. If you want to learn about how to stake kyanite in th
